When browsing J.Crew’s site the other day, I came across photos from Summer 2014 Lookbook: “Passage to India.” The images obviously caught my eye (because…India), and the photos are fantastic– wanderlust at its best. While I haven’t been to Rajasthan, the state where the shoot took place, it’s clear that J.Crew made the right choice shooting in Udaipur. It’s the perfect backdrop to shoot a bunch of this season’s classic looks and the images truly capture India’s natural beauty. I’m also a huge fan of their simpler pieces and would especially love to replicate the second photo. If I could just get that plane ticket…

  1. Oh motherland!! I love that they’re including antique/tarnished metals on jewelry and subtle patterns. Really speaks to what India has to offer!
