It’s the classic twentysomething dilemma… how to do things on a budget, but still do them well. I take a lot of pride in shopping the sales, patiently waiting for the best deal, scouring the internet to save a few bucks, etc. (sidenote: have you tried out Ebates? I first thought it was a scam, but it is most definitely not, and it’s free $$. Seriously. My link to join, here.) So when it comes to decorating my new apartment, I’m all about doing it on a budget.
Although I still have a lot to learn about saving money + smart spending, my philosophy has always been “less is more.” Buy fewer, classic, high-quality pieces that will last and if you’re going for a trend, take the cheaper route since you’re much more likely to scrap it soon. This applies for clothes + accessories… decor is another story. I’m constantly torn between wanting to invest in something that I know will last, but being at a stage in my life where moving – at least to another apartment – may happen frequently, it might not be worth investing in some things no matter how much I love them.
So, in the spirit of my move this week, here are 10 decor-related finds under $100 that will hopefully inspire you if you’re moving or redecorating in the near future. In fact, they’re all under $75… completely unintentionally. Which isn’t a bad thing at all. Hoping to make some of these mine!
