I’m a big advocate of buying workwear that can go from season to season with some minor changes, meaning my own work wardrobe has lots of grey, black, and white pieces. I am, however, trying to incorporate a few more colors and dark green and burgundy are high on the list.
Embellishments on sweaters, shirts and sweatshirts seem to be everywhere lately, and I’m loving this sweater that can easily be worn to the office with a nice skirt and heels (or flats). The blazer has elbow patches–BIG bonus–and can double for casual-wear with jeans, perhaps with those adorable booties. The blue skirt is sort of the odd one out but I think can definitely be worn in cooler temps, especially right now while the weather is being stubborn and fall doesn’t always feel like it’s here to say. It’s also the perfect transition piece into spring (yep, went there). And don’t even get me started on these Equipment tops— they’re actually perfect, but unfortunately out of my current budget. And these bags, seriously, someone please snap one of these up because they are so incredibly pretty. The Kate Spade one (on the far left) is a bit pricey, but the other two are pretty affordable and would last you years. What are your favorites?!
